It will be followed by a presentation of the study elaborated by CECOP on the same topic and by a round table discussion involving representatives from the EU institutions, the European Trade Union Confederation and the cooperative movement.

About the documentary From February to April 2012, CECOP and m30m, a film production cooperative, filmed 4 different cooperative stories: a mineral water factory in Poland founded more than 60 years ago (Muszynianka), a French company in crisis acquired by its workers and transformed into a worker cooperative (Fonderie de l’Aisne), a consortium of social cooperatives in Milan providing labour inclusion to disadvantaged people and social services to thousands of citizens (Consorzio SIS), and an industrial cooperative group which is one of Spain’s main business groups (MONDRAGON Corporation).

Through testimonies of the staff of those enterprises who also own and control them, the documentary shows how they face the crisis in order to preserve jobs, local skills and economic activities.

"Together. How cooperatives show resilience to the crisis" is the new documentary film produced by CECOP-CICOPA Europe in the framework of the UN-proclaimed International Year of Cooperatives.
